CAMPING in Coorg

The Coorg homestay organize camping trips in the jungle, riverside, and in plantations. We provide all camping equipments such as tents, sleeping bags, and other camping equipments. The walks with camping is for 2 days with 1 night camping. This could also be extended to 5 days.


Crimsoneye Homestay offer jeep drives through the forests to explore Coorg. Nagarahole National Park - Drive to one of the prime national parks of India. It is a strong hold for Asiatic elephants. It happens to be one of the best habitats for tigers and other animals in India. A jeep safari is a great way to spot animals in the park such as tigers, leopards, antelopes, cheethal, mouse deer, spotted deer, wild pig, civet cat, mongoose, jackal, and wild dogs.

ANGLING in Coorg

The Dubare elephant camp is situated on the banks of river Cauvery. This camp offers unique understanding about elephants.


Visit the Tibetan settlement to see the Namdroling monastery also known as Padmasambhava Buddhist Vihara with 18m high gold plated Buddha idol. Also recently opened is the Zangdogpalri temple.


  • Paint Ball Shooting: This is a team based combat challenge where you play in the real forest environment.
  • Jungle Gym: This is a tree-top aerial assault course up in the trees using ladders, walkway bridge, and tunnels made of wood, ropes, and super strong wires and topped off with the country's best zip-lines. The construction and operating procedures have been carried out at international safety standards.
  • Quad Biking: Quad bikes (ATV) which are 250 cc machines where you get to ride for around 1000 m circuit of demanding off-road track winding through the forest. These machines are fully automatic.
  • Rifle Range: Outdoor rifle range with state of the art air rifles.


  • White Water Rafting is done in Dubare where the short stretch is 7 km and the long stretch is 11 km which has rapids of grade 3. In Barapole, it is a 3 km stretch rafting of 2.5 hrs which has rapids of around grade 4. The season starts from June to September. The rafting is done by skilled and experienced instructors. Equipments such as safety jackets and crash helmets are provided.
  • Walk in Rice fields: Get firsthand experience of traditional hand methods of cultivating rice. Participate in the field work such as ploughing and transplanting.
